What happens at a first appointment?
We start with a conversation about your hearing history and lifestyle, then move into a full hearing evaluation — pure tone audiometry, speech-in-noise testing and tympanometry — before Paul talks you through the results and your options. Appointments typically take up to 90 minutes.
How much does a hearing assessment cost?
A Hearing Evaluation is £115. Hearing Care Plans, if hearing aids are recommended, range from £2,950 to £4,750 and include fitting, aftercare and annual reviews.
Do you treat tinnitus as well as hearing loss?
Yes. Tinnitus assessment and management is one of Paul’s particular areas of expertise, and many of the hearing aids we fit include tinnitus management features where relevant.
Do I need a GP referral to book an appointment?
No. You can book directly online or by calling 0113 8730444, with no referral required.
Can I just have my ears cleared of wax?
Yes. Ear wax removal is available as a standalone visit using microsuction. If a build-up is affecting your hearing more broadly, we may also suggest a full evaluation while you’re with us.
Is the clinic easy to get to without a car?
Yes. We’re just off Street Lane in Roundhay, close to local bus routes, and a short walk from Oakwood and the surrounding streets.
