After four years based in Chapel Allerton, North Leeds, The Hearing Space has moved to brand new premises in Roundhay, Leeds. Independent Audiology is now available in Roundhay for the first time.

Why have we moved?
After four years in the heart of Chapel Allerton, it was time to move to bigger and better things!
We have far more space, ground-floor access and easier parking. Located just off Street Lane in Roundhay, not far from Street Lane Medical Practice, we are perfectly located to continue serving the community of North Leeds.
We have our own private waiting area and are located in Margaret House, 2 Devonshire Crescent, which lies just off Devonshire Avenue.
Why Roundhay for Independent Audiology?
At The Hearing Space, our aim is to provide quick access to high-quality hearing care for the people of North Leeds and further afield.
Unlike the big high-street chains and opticians-based hearing care, our Clinical Audiologist lives locally (5 mins away by bike!), which means clients have quick access to care, even if out-of-hours or the weekend.
No long waits to see your audiologist if your hearing aids need repair. No navigating the city centre to find parking. Just a simple journey to Roundhay. This means that if you get hearing devices from us and things go wrong, we can usually see you the same day or very soon afterwards.
With Street Lane close at hand (yes, my new coffee place is just up the road), we are located right in the heart of North Leeds, with easy access from Adel, Alwoodley, Shadwell, Wetherby, Bramhope, Horsforth and beyond.
Roundhay is famous for its park, which hosts sports and music events, with severla big names performing over the years.
Roundhay is neighbours with Oakwood, which itself is a busy and thriving place to eat and drink and socialise.
With the ring road recently imporved, Roundhay is only a short drive from Harrogate, Wetherby, York and North and East Yorkshire. In fact, we see clients from all over Yorkshire and further afield.

Coming from an NHS background, our Clinical Director, who is both a Hearing Aid Dispenser and a Clinical Scientist, combines all the latest science from audiology with compassionate and friendly care.
We genuinely care about supporting the people of Leeds when they are experiencing hearing loss. We test, advise, and recommend, but never ‘sell’, which, unfortunately, is a big feature of most hearing aid providers.
We are seeing more people who have previously gone with the high-street providers or optician-based providers, only to find that when things go wrong, they struggle to be seen or see different audiologists.
We take our time. We know that each person is unique and often needs information and reassurance before making any decision regarding hearing devices.
